Boe made her film debut in Amusement (2008) and later appeared in Paranormal Activity 4 (2012). On television, she had recurring roles in Days of Our Lives (2014–2015) and Teen Wolf (2014). She achieved international recognition as Jessica Davis in the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why (2017–2020). Boe has also acted in Do Revenge (2022) and continues to work in film and streaming productions.
